These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Kopi Date’s Website and Services, located at https://www.kopidate.com and https://explore.kopidate.com/.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Kopi Date if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
By using our Services, you agree to be bound by the Terms & Condition, Safety Dating Advice and Privacy Policy, which we may amend from time to time.
If you do not accept and agree to be bound by all of the terms of this Agreement, you are not entitled to use our Services. All pronouns and any variations thereof shall be deemed to refer to the masculine, feminine, neuter, singular or plural as the identity of the entities or persons referred to any require.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client", “You", “Members”, “Member” and “Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company", “Ourselves", “We", “Our" and “Us", refers to our Company. “Party", “Parties", or “Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Singapore. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
Services
Kopi Date aims to offer fresh new opportunities for singles to meet by providing paid personalised services that connect users together at partnered local businesses, either on a 1:1 format or a small group setting. Kopi Date targets to strengthen the connection of our dates by creating the most ideal environment for an authentic conversation.
You understand and agree that:
Kopi Date will be using and/or testing out social approaches that is unlike other traditional match-making agencies.
Kopi Date makes no warranty that the service will fully meet your requirements and/or expectations and/or lead to a successful match and resulting relationship/marriage.
No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Kopi Date at any point during the Match-up service, shall create any warranty not stated in the Terms of Service Agreement or other relevant terms and conditions.
Where other members or users misuse Kopi Date service to provide, disseminate, communicate or transmit content and materials that you may not wish to be exposed to, Kopi Date does not and cannot accept responsibility or liability for such acts of others in violation of the Agreement.
Kopi Date specifically disclaims all liability, regardless of the form of action, for the acts or omission of other members and/or users with your confidential personal information (including unauthorized users and/or third parties of the Match-up service).
Payments / Prices / Refund Policy
Prices of products and services and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability.
All membership paid to Kopi Date are strictly non-refundable. All payment made is final.
Direct billing of the membership plan will occur two days after the Onboarding Call, which is also known as ‘The Kopi Date Brew’. The payment will be charged to the card that the member added during the registration process. The default plan, shared during The Kopi Date Brew, will be the basis for the direct billing.
To downgrade the membership plan or cancel the billing, it is necessary to reach out to us in writing via email to membership@kopidate.com or celebration@kopidate.com before the billing begins. The deletion of the account will not affect your membership status. Kindly reach out to us at hello@kopidate.com for membership inquiries.
Kopi Date reserves the right to modify the Refund Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Kopi Date reserves the right to amend the prevailing policy at any time and will place any such amendments on this Site.
Legal Capacity and Access
By accessing our Website, continuing to access our Website, utilizing any of our services you expressly represent, declare and warrant that you are:-
Of a minimum age of 18 years old;
Legally capable of entering into and being bound by contracts, including but not limited to the Agreement;
Single i.e. unmarried, widowed or divorced (those who are separated will not be eligible to utilize any of Kopi Date’s services until the final court order or its equivalent has been granted for the dissolution of the marriage);
Mentally sound and emotionally well;
Not convicted of any crimes in Singapore and/or any other countries (except for minor traffic offences for which only a fine was imposed);
Not a bankrupt;
Providing and keeping Kopi Date updated with accurate information as requested by Kopi Date and relevant to your utilization of Kopi Date’s services. Accordingly, you shall inform Kopi Date of any updates and/or changes to your personal particulars when such information is out-dated;
Furnishing, be it written or verbally, true and accurate information. If any information provided by you is found to be misleading, false or inaccurate, Kopi Date has the right to terminate your services purchased with immediate effect, all your fees paid in advance will be forfeited, and all fees that would have been payable had your services purchased not been prematurely terminated will become immediately due and payable.
Kopi Date reserves the right to conduct background or marital status checks on you, whenever necessary, at any time and from time to time while you are still a member or customer of Kopi Date.
Competing Product or Service
We reserve the right to remove or ban any member from our service without notice if we have reason to believe that the member has intentions to start, has started or working on/for a competing product or service, including but not limited to dating apps, matchmaking agencies, or any other organisation that facilitates or enables singles to meet new people. This includes any activity that could be construed as attempting to replicate or compete with our business or services. We will not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the member as a result of such removal or ban.
Termination
We will determine in our sole discretion whether there has been a breach of these T&Cs through your use and/or access of the Site. When a breach of these T&Cs has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate, including:-
Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use and/or access the Site;
Issuing a warning to you;
Forfeit the date credits you have purchased;
Commencing legal proceedings against you for loss resulting from your breach; and
Disclosure to law enforcement authorities of such information as we reasonably deem necessary.
We exclude liability for any actions taken in response to breaches of these T&Cs. The responses described above are not exhaustive, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
Onboarding Session
Please be advised that ‘The Kopi Date Brew’ onboarding sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. These recordings are solely for the improvement of our services and to ensure the highest quality of support for our members. By participating in these sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the potential recording of the session.
Indemnities
You agree to indemnify us and hold us and our partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, and damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of:
Your access of, use of and/or participation in this Site;
Breaches of your obligations under these T&Cs;
Your violation of any rights of another person or entity; and/or
Your breach of any statutory requirement, duty or law.
Code of Conduct
You agree to behave respectfully to other members, users, participants and customers of the Website, Kopi Date’s services and activities, as well as the employees of Kopi Date, such respectful behaviour to be in no event any less than the standards as set out in this section on “Code of Conduct”. In the event you infringe this Code of Conduct (including but not limited to usage of vulgarities, harassment, defamation, or other undesirable behaviour), your membership, participation in activities or other services subscribed with/purchased from Kopi Date will be suspended or terminated with immediate effect without notice from or liability on Kopi Date. Kopi Date also reserves full rights to take legal actions against the offender.
You shall be responsible for any information you voluntarily disclose to other users of our Website, participants of our activities, members or customers of Kopi Date. You agree not to hold Kopi Date howsoever liable for any harm, mishaps, damages or loss as a result of your own disclosure of your information.
You are to use the Website, services and activities provided by Kopi Date in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations. You are to assume your true legal identity at all times and not impersonate any person or entity.
Additional rules of conduct may apply to certain activities and services of Kopi Date and/or introduced or amended from time to time, including but not limited to a code of conduct as stipulated in our Terms of Service Agreement , and you agree to abide by all such additional and/or amended rules of conduct.
Confidentiality
Kopi Date is committed to protect your privacy and ensure the confidentiality of all your personal information. Only employees authorized by the management of Kopi Date will have the authority to access members’ and customers’ database. Kopi Date will also make sure that such employees are bound by written obligations of confidentiality to protect the privacy of all our members and customers. We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Kopi Date, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with the Kopi Date’s Privacy Policy.

Kopi Date does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Kopi Date, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions.
